Be advised some hotels are nonsmoking hotels such as the Springfield Suites in Jacksonville Fla. Although a beautiful hotel and I am a nonsmoker just thought smokers as well as nonsmokers who are traveling with smokers would like this information.

Great hotel, all suites similiar to Residence Inn but prices are lower.

All Marriott properties, regardless of brand, are smoke-free within the United States.

Outside of the U.S., it varies by country and region.  For example, there is no smoking in hotels in Belgium but within Germany it is limited by region... so you can smoke in Munich hotels but not in Rudesheim am Rhine hotels.

All Marriotts in the US and Canada is non smoking. $250 smoking fee would be added to your bill if you did smoke in room.
