Located 14 miles North of Boston and 34 miles west of Rockport, Massachusetts on Cape Ann on Boston's North Shore,  the Courtyard Boston/Woburn is among a handful* of colonial gems in New England.

Courtyard by Marriott Boston Woburn

Unlike other Courtyards, the Courtyard Boston Woburn is red brick colonial, granite lintels above each window along with green shutters.  From the outside, this Courtyard is very charming and stately with a steeple marking the center of it's hip roof and 5 dormer windows.

The interior is distinctly New England with architectural trim throughout the lobby, common areas, hallways and rooms.  The Courtyard Cafe is part of a very large living room, a few steps from the entrance lobby.

The style, rate and the room upgrade closed the deal.  Except for one associate who got off on the wrong foot, the Courtyard Woburn staff including the Courtyard Cafe greatly exceeded our expectations.

We enjoyed our room, a junior suite with King bed on a corner, separate sitting area and fold-out sofa. Airy, filled with daylight and spacious, the room was perfect.  Each room is equipped with a refrigerator.  We didn't request a microwave but they gave us one anyway.
