Making Disney vacations economical

When we go to Disneyland, we don't want to end up spending an arm and a leg on food, so we do it the easy way.  We stay at a Residence Inn by Marriott, where they have an AMAZING continental breakfast, as well as a full kitchen in your room.

We head to the nearest grocery store (or they'll even do your grocery shopping FOR you, for free!!), and pick up all we'll need for "picnic" lunches in Disneyland, and then for dinners and snacks.

We fix lunches to take in a cooler to Disneyland, where we store them in a locker until lunch time.  Then, around 4pm, we'll go back to the hotel, cook our dinner in our room, and then take a nap or lounge at the pool.  Around 7 or 8pm, we head back to Disneyland where we can still enjoy another 4 or 5 hours at the park.  We're relaxed and full, and didn't overwhelm ourselves by staying at the park for 12 or 13 hours.
