Renaissance Grand Hotel St. Louis

I just spent a few days in St. Louis.  The Renaissance Grand hotel was beautiful, the bar is a great gathering place, we had a last minute change to our conference and had to cancel a riverboat cruise due to flooding, and the hotel put together a great dinner in one of their ballrooms for us in less than 24 hours.  The food was fantastic!  An American Place also held a reception for us, and even though there was construciton in the bar area, it was still nice.  If you are looking for a special place to eat, try Kemoll's.  Great view of the arch and romantic ambiance.

    lorirobert,

    Wow,  that's great to hear!

We just spent the evening down the street at the new Marriott Union Station and had a similar experience.  The Grand is great for conventions!  They have the night life as well on Washington Ave.

     Thanks for the information.
