We have stayed at the Marriott in Buenos Aires twice - once for a week and once for 3 days.  On our second visit, in April of '09, we both thought the hotel was getting shabby.  It's across from a lovely park and shopping area but needs some refurbishing, soon.  There is a great, reasonable beef restaurant about 2 blocks from the hotel.  In English it is called The Stable - ask the concierge for directions. Oddly enough, we loved breakfast at the McDonalds about 1 block away as we could get American coffee.  They have a little pastry counter by the front door with great breakfast treats. We enjoyed the mall on Florida Ave. and both times loved the Sunday antique market.  Ask the concierge about it and to get you a cab- cabs are cheap

    Snowbirds,

    That is great advice!

We have a trip planned to BA and this will be so helpful!

    Thanks,

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)
