pack light, you never use all that you pack!

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)

Here is what I now consider an ESSENTIAL travel tip.

Now that digital camera memory is dirt cheap, buy one memory card to cover every two days that you will be on the road. At the end of the second day, place the current card in a very safe place. Using this practice will practically guarantee that you won't lose valuable shots.

I'm speaking from experience on this. During a recent trip to London one of my two memory cards filled up after day 3, at which time I placed an empty one in the camera. As luck would have it, my camera was stolen from my suitcase somewhere between Heathrow and Miami. I was really upset but grateful that I had the first memory card.

Consider posting your lost camera on camerafound.com, a lost and found website for digital cameras. Losing precious memories and a camera is regrettable, camerafound.com provides a bridge.

Really depends on the project you are working on. I have worked 4-10 hr days, home on the weekend, to 4 weeks out. So I have planned for at least two weeks of dress and to keep expenses low for my customers, I do laundry at hotels (coin operated).
