Waitlist

Even if the Marriott says they are sold out, ask to be put on the Waitlist. It is not an option that is offered up by the customer service representative on the other end of the phone line, but it is a service they do have. Since most people don’t know about it, the list is usually short and you will most likely end up getting the room you need.

    Miss

Thanks for the tip.  Were you attempting to reserve using Rewards points?  How did customer service alert you, did they call you back or e-mail?

    MissMagpie,

great advice!  Just have them keep on trying!  Sometimes the hotels will open up for just a few hours and then sell out again.

It comes down to supply/demand.  Good luck!
