I will be in Pensacola in August... In the past few years we have stayed in Destin, but there isnt a beachside resort by marriott in Destin/FWB area...

We are considering driving a little more and finding a marriott beach resort to explore.  Please give suggestions and advice.  We have a 6 yr old little girl, love the beach, pools, relaxation, snorkeling, fishing, boat tours, and a little fun....

I might even consider Alabama if it is extraordinary... thanks

What about Marriott Springhill Suites Pensacola. It's not a full service Marriott, but a Category 5 featuring all suites, private balconies, water view, complimentary breakfast, too.  Step out of the hotel and onto the beach!

nice, but we were trying to find something a little more in amenities, etc.

Maybe Panama City Or... ??? I truly do not know. We have been staying in the four points resort in FWB.. Nice beach side, beach pools, water sports rentals... but we want something different and perfer a marriott.

    thanks.

    Fbrewood,

Would you consider the Marriott at Jacksonville Beach?

We had a great time there and had a great round of golf.

If you are talking about the Marriott at the TPC, go for it.  Not on the beach but easy access.

    TPC or Cocoa Beach.

You can't go wrong with either.

If you are going to drive go to Marco. The beach and pools are gorgeous. Marco Island Marriott is a wonderful place for families. We spent many years doing this. We flew into Orlando, treated them to one park of their choice then drove to Marco and spent the rest of the week at the resort. It was a really, really nice.

Check out the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort and Spa.  Great place!

I also would go with Marco Island, we went there with our son who was 3 1/2 at the time and had a wonderful time, we drove from Tampa.  It is a beautiful property, has a great kid-friendly pool and beach, there was a little playground area, cute little tiki huts for rent, it was a really enjoyable time!
