My wife and I are visiting Paris for the first time in June for our 44th wedding anniv. Staying at the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel. First a little travel help what metro do we take from the CDG airport to the Hotel. Second, anyone recommend a great restaurant near our hotel for our celebration. Anyone having stayed at this hotel did we make a good pick from the Marriotts in Paris?
Thanks for the exact location and RER route. We have been staying at other properties but never know where you are for sure going to get booked these days.
This will be a good alternative from La Defense or CE which are very good but sometimes difficult to get in using points.
When I stay at the CE Marriott, Le Parc or any where else I take the Air France bus from CDG to Etoile and then the metro to where ever I am staying . The RER is a bit of work but the bus is sitting right there as you exit most terminals. They have a website with info. and after a long flight easy! There is also a bus to near the Marais and the Rouissey bus to Opera. The only way to go!
I have found that several European cities ofer this type of option and it is so easy.
