Honeymoon Dilemma

My fiance and I are trying to decide where to go on our honeymoon (in September)--we are torn between honeymooning in Aruba (Stellaris Resort and Casino) or honeymooning at the Marriott property in the Grand Cayman. Please share your feedback /thoughts with us on these two choices (or if you have other recommendations). Thanks!

I spent five nights in Seven Mile Beach last November. If you like a fantastic beach on your door step look no further, you really do walk out of the hotel on to the beach. Staff at the hotel were great, nice room, nice food etc Nice pool area, lots of loungers etc both at the pool and on the beach. I ran barefoot on the beach for my daily run and what a feeling. Georgetown itself was a bit of a disappointment but then I was on my own and had my wife been with me I am sure I would have spent quite a bit of time in the "duty free" shops on offer. Again if you are into snorkelling Rum Pont is the place to head to. Stingray city is a must, I couldn't go, too windy just after the Hurricane last year. The whole island is pretty flat and the secenry doesn't change too much where ever you go , palm trees, beaches and houses. Sorry can't help you with Aruba but Grand Cayman pretty good and if I could have afforded to go there on honeymoon all those years ago it would have been fantastic. Good luck to you both.

We have a time share in Aruba so we love it...Never been to the Cayman Islands We have been married for 25 years so we have been to a lot of Islands  Aruba has beautiful weather all year round which is a plus We are staying for the first time at the Stellaris first before our timeshare so we can stay longer..Restaurants are great .Water is beautiful and the snorkling is great too.

We have been to both properties and I would recommend Aruba without hesitation. In general there was more to see and do than there was in Grand Cayman.
