Just found out today about the increase in rewards points needed for multiple days stays at hotels. Very disappointed in the way this was explained to customers. Apparently, Marriott believes announcing "No More Blackout Days" clearly states that reward points needed for hotel stays have gone up - the "enhancements" announcement on the webpage doesn't mention the "bad news" until you get three levels down on the Marriott webpage (under the program changes footer) - some enhancement!!! Very disappointed that Marriott decided to "spin" the good news and bury the bad news - material omissions of information are not a good way of doing business. The 1M + points in my account will be severely impacted by this change. Time to take my business to company that appreciates my business.
