Stayed for the first time at the JW Marriott SF. Must say, my husband and I were disappointed. The staff were fine, but the upgrade for Platinum was marginal (a better view), the closet was broken and difficult to use, had an unknown charge on our bill at check out (which was promptly removed), Concierge room was closed on the weekend. Don't want to whine, but we expected more at a JW---a suite upgrade (we asked and were told there were none), a room without issues, and a Concierge room that was open! Next visit to SF, we will return to the Marriott downtown/Moscone Ctr where we enjoy the Concierge room --open on weekends and even during Thanksgiving weekend, functioning rooms and one of the Concierges there, Alan, is very attentive and spot on with his recommendations for restaurants, museums, and sporting events.
