Just a warning for all those business travelers out there - even tho I am a Platinum - I was charged for interent at both hotels.
I spent 11 days at the Coronado Marriott in June 2008- had 2 rooms. I did not get credit for my second room. I had to pay for internet at $14.95 per night for each room. Very expensive. I asked them about a credit since I was a Platinum, and was told - no. I doubt I will stay at this hotel again - and will never recommend it.
Then in August 2008 - I was at the San Diego Marriott for 7 days and got charged for internet service. I said something about this at check out and they said it was not included. I eventually was given a credit. This is not service.
Look - a little further away is the Residence Inn - much less expensive (including the parking) and free internet.
This is an important amenity for business travelers.
