Hi, can someone tell me what exchange rate Marriott Rewards uses to calculates its reward points when guests are not staying in the US.
I have been staying at the London West India Quay hotel for a number of weeks. One of the stays has a £911 spend which equates to 12,174 points (before silver elite bonus). The rest are similar.
I know the £ vs $ rate is dropping but the points seem on the low side (possibly using an exchange rate of £1 : $1.33) before multiplying by 10 points per $. I feel a little short changed but maybe I have miss understood how they are calculated or where they get their rate from.
