1. Marriott, thanks for the Forum. At least it gives us an opportunity to be heard. One thing I am sure of is that Marriott got the message lound and clear about the 2009 program changes. Without the Forum, perhaps that would have taken longer.
2. According to Ed, if these "enhancements" are being made at a cost of "millions of dollars" to Marriott, and so many members are unhappy, wouldn't it be a win for everyone to keep the old program until something new can be developed that meets Marriott's needs, and we the people can tolerate?
3. I for one am not happy with the changes, but the way I use points, I prefer greater availability for a SMALL reduced value. That is why the Stay Anytime awards at 150% of a standard award were a great idea!
4. I can totally understand why MVCI owners would be outraged. I almost bought our first week two months ago. I would have been furious now had I purchased then.
