Why when a new reward is available and you try and use it, it is always only for a "standard room" only??
The recent reward of dinner free if you stay two nights at the weekend is a good example. I booked a weekend using the code M11 and could only bring up a standard room with breakfast and the first night shown as free dinner. I wanted a "Superior room" and no way could I change it. Even when I rang the Elite reservations number they couldn't change it either? The only thing they could do was to put a note to the hotel telling them that I wanted an upgrade and was willing to pay for it using this offer.
Surely it is possible to change future offers to include ALL types of rooms, or allow an upgrade to be done "on-line"?
