Keeping this short-- I have to agree with all of the comments about how Marriott seems to be doing their best to drive away their best customers.
I have been a MVC owner since 1997 and other than staying in our home resort, we have always been dissappointed in the process of trying to trade through the II system. The other time share organizations that we have reviewed manage the trading through their own system and when you trade, you get equal value for your trade. With Marriott/II when we trade our Ocean Front at Kauai Beach Club, we do not get an Ocean Front, or even an Ocean View in most cases.
Now with the increase in points required for a vacation stay, we are even more encouraged to look at the Marriott competitors.
With all of these negative comments, I would hope that Marriott takes note and makes attempts to keep thier best customers happy.
