As almost everyone has noted, this new program is a rippoff. I have been a member for 18 years, almost always going to Marriotts when I could. Now I find that you raised hotel rates, there is a raise in my credit card interest rate, and my point are being devalued. So I am going to use up my remaining points and will probalby use another credit card and other hotels. I think it is great that you are actually driving loyal customers away in this time of economic crisis. Hopefully the genius who thought this one up will get fired and replaced by someone who cares about the clients.
