Concierge/Executive Lounges

Isn't it about time that Marriott posted a clear list of which hotels worldwide have concierge/executive  lounges?? Which are open on weekends?? Once that is done, it should be updated regularly. Concurrently, active users worldwide could post comments on the  best of the best, and which staff members should be singled out for special mention and rewards.

 What do you think??

I absolutely agree!  We ran into this very problem recently.  The hotel had a concierge level which you only had access to if you paid the price for the rooms.  They only upgraded Platinum and we could not have access!

The problem is that reservations tell you one thing and the hotel another.  There should be one list we all can access!

Absolutely agree - it would be very simple to add lounge details to the hotel's profile on Marriott.com.  It is a big deal to know whether there is going to be a convenient breakfast buffet or not, and whether there will be evening hors d'oevres.

This is an area where the Marriott brand experience is highly inconsistent.  In Asia I have found most lounges are open every day including weekends - and offer hors d'oevres later into the evening than they are offered in the USA.  In fact the standard of lounges is generally much higher in Asia than in the USA.

YOU ARE ABSOUTELY CORRECT. WHY DO SOME MARRIOTTS HIDE THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE CONCIERGE OR EXECUTIVE LOUNGES?? SEVERAL ABSTRACTS REQUIRE THAT YOU SEARCH THEIR PHOTOS TO FIND OUT WHETHER OR NOT THEY HAVE A LOUNGE. WHATS THE BIG MYSTERY??ITS ABOUT TIME A CLEAR LIST WAS POSTED DETAILING HOURS OF OPERATION, DAYS OF THE WEEK IE WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE OPENED ON WEEKENDS OR NOT. RECENTLY STAYED AT A PROPERTY THAT DOES NOT OPEN ON SUNDAY NIGHTS. SIMILARY A RESIDENCE IN WE STAYED AT ADVISED THAT THEY NO LONGER OFFER "GUEST RECEPTIONS"ON THURSDAYS (MON THRU WED ONLY) THIS TYPE OF INFO SHOULD BE DISPLAYED IN THE PROPERTIES ABSTRACT ON THE NET TO BETTER HELP THE CUSTOMER DECIDE WHETHER ON NOT TO STAY THERE.
