It depends what you go to Paris for? If it is for Disneyland, then it is OK, if it is to enjoy Paris and spend one day in Disneyland, you'd be better in Paris.
You have to count around 30 to 40 minutes public transport (RER = suburb train) from Disney to the center of Paris, and I believe that you have to count around USD10 per person for each 1 way commute (I am not sure of the price).
Disney is in the middle of nowhere, as all Disney, ie if you stay there, you'll only be able to take walk near the park, in hotels or restaurants, but you won't enjoy France actually.
If you stay in Paris, you can take walks in the vening, enjoy various French restaurants, cafes, etc...
We have been and are going again this fall - no real problem. Resort facilities and staff are everything you expect from Marriott.
Resort has a shuttle van/bus to the RER rail station and daily or 5-day passes for all RER and Metro routes are reasonable. Purchase a pass for zones 1-5 for 5 days for best value.
