I haven't travelled very extensively to the SouthWEest, and wondered what would be the best way to get a good overview? Been to Vegas, seen the Hoover, and a little bit around there, but otherwise, very new to the area. Help!!

Circle Tour: from Vegas, drive to Sedona, AZ and the Red Rock Canyon, then to the Grand Canyon, next follow the Canyon around to the East to Page, AZ.  Stay on Lake Powell, you can rent houseboats there.  From Page/Lake Powell, you can go across Southern Utah to Bryce and Zion National Parks, North Rim of the Grand Canyon is also an option but I don't know your time limitations.  And then back to Vegas for your return flight home...but if you get down to Phoenix/Scottsdale at any time, you have to stay at the Camelback Inn, even if it is under renovation.
