We visited Anchorage Alaska in 2002. It was June and we were delighted.

Stayed at the Anchorage Marriott and used that as a hub for *lots* of driving and sight-seeing and walking. Many places within walking distance. One of our favorites was Humpy's. Great halibut sandwiches.

The view from our room at the Marriott was spectacular. They really should have a web cam.

This cam to mind this morning as I had just figured-out how to display digital photos from a computer in my office to the big screen TV in the family room using the PS3 and some Orb(free) software.

Zow. The big picture of the hotel room window is spectacular. I think it's Mt. Mckinley that is clearly in view in the distance.

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)
