An oppertunity to visit the Maritimes, see some real vista's, visit a National park, go on a sea cruise, eat all the lobster, seafood cowder and more you can stomach, and visit another country all witin a week.

Take a drive up to Portland Maine, stay the night and visit the city, the downtown area is chocked gull of sops, retaurants and more. Eat some lobster and visit Portland Head light to get in the spirit of things.

Book your self on the CAT and drive your vehicle aboard and enjoy a fast comfortable moder sea cruise out of Portland and be whised up to Yarmouth Nova Scotia in style and comfort. Disembark in Yarmouth and visit this smaller town and it's charms. Take a slow run up along the coast and visit seafaring villages where fishing is a way of life and enjoy the ambiance and the feshest seafood you can find anywhere's. The many seafood chowders are a real treat and can be tested in any multitude of locations. Visit Lunenberg and view shipbuilding in progress and note the rich history of this region,

Drive on to Metro Halifax and stay downtown at the Harbor. There's much to visit in this clean modern city and a striking harbor area with again a multitude of shops, stores and restarurants. Visit the graves of many of the lost souls of the Titanic, climb the ramparts of the Citadel, take a sail cruise at twilight to watch the sun sink into the horizon. You will want to schedule two nights and days here reserving a day for the return run to Yarmouth. Or for those with more time head north and visit even rarer areas.

Run back douwn to Yarmouth and meet the CAT and sail over to Bar Harbor for a day or two at the East Coasts premier National Park. Listen to the thump and boom at Thunderhole, climb (by car) Mount Cadillac and greet the sun at daybreak. Walk the streets of Bar Harbor and enjoy Maines quiet charms and many shops and restaurants once again.

Your run down Route 1 returning to Portland and beyonds will take you by Perry's Nuthouse (not to be mised by and child) and along many interesting scenes and sites. Camden, Maine and the famouse Camden Hills are vista's you will remember a good while.

Oh so much to see and do and all reasonable.

Enjoy this our families chared secret ...
