Recently stayed at the Springhill Suites property in Moore Oklahoma while on a business trip.
In the rush of the morning I packed everything up and left the hotel for my meetings.
Received a call early in the PM that I had left my laptop computer on the desk at the hotel and that I should call them, specifically Steve Stout, the General Manager of the property.
Got the voicemail when I landed in Houston!!!
Steve took it upon himself to offer to ship the computer to me the next day. Turns out it was a little more complicated that that, as USPS could not get the computer to me until the following Monday. Steve then took it to Fed Ex and they were able to get it to me on Friday in Florida. Took him a couple of hours of his time to make this happen for me.
It was a great example of why I have been a loyal customer of Marriott for all my business since the late 60's. They still do an excellent job making you feel important and valuable to them as a customer.
Steve deserves a commendation for this "beyond" customer support effort.
