I would like to nominate Javier, front desk associate at the Courtyard Coconut Grove, who greeted us in the early hours of February 20 (and again in the evening of Feb 23). Our weather-delayed travel hassles put us into the Courtyard well after midnight, without our luggage. Javier took the initiative of making our lives easier, offering a roll-away to accommodate our grown kids who were traveling with us, starting the luggage tracking process (with was successfully delivered the next day) and moving us to a larger room on our return visit several days later. His warm demeanor and proactive customer service was, in our opinion, above and beyond the realm of typical customer service, and we were very grateful for his help.
We do not usually take this effort to commend service that we think is appropriate. Javier's performance deserves the effort.
