Why does Marriott continue to enforce a rule that government contractors cannot get the government rate?  When I contacted Marriott they claimed that the government asked them to make this policy yet they would not attribute it to anyone.  Contractors comply with the same rules and are bound with the same per diem rates as the government so we either have to get waivers and pay more (thus the taxpayer pays more) or we have to stay somewhere other than a Marriott.  Kind of defeats the purpose of rewarding frequent travel.  And to think I thought Marriott was based in Maryland USA and not China...

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)
