If you were choosing between these 4 Caribbean type islands for a honeymoon which would you choose? Am i missing any hidden gems that should be on the list St. Thomas? St. Kitts? Looking for a little privacy when we can get it but not too secluded. Thoughts? I appreciate any feedback.

Scrub Island is to me the best, it is very secluded yet you can get out and do many things if you desire.  We've been there twice and not been close to finding disappointment as the place is just great, excellent rooms, staff is awesome and not hard to travel to either if you fly into Beef Island (EIS).

I would choose Scrub Island. Spa & Marina Autograph Collection.  Although some ACs dont award points, this one is so worth it.  The spa and massage alone makes you feel like a pampered celebrity. The waters are incredibly blue and if you like diving, kayaking, snorkling or water adventures..... take a boat and head over to Diamond Reef.

Try to get building 17 if you can, its so much more quiet than most of the others.

The beaches are perfect fine sand beaches - very clean and you can find places to either be alone and secluded or among other people.

Its British Virgin Islands as opposed to what you may expect going to the US Virgin Islands at St Croix but I would go again and again.  As a matter of fact, I'm a concierge photographer in my spare time if you want someone to follow you around like a celebrity and just take your photos LOL

Have a blast wherever you decide to go...its the company that makes any place special.

I Have only been to Aruba and it  was wonderful . You might want to consider the Ren on aruba as it is close to a lot of great restaurants and a great private beach. I bet all would be great

Scrub Island building 17 for sure.  Room 1724 or 1725 if you can score them, awesome spot to relax and enjoy the evening breezes and boat watching.

I love Aruba but would stay at the Stellaris on Palms Beach vs Renniassance or do both. Rennaissance is nice but it is not on a beach. They have a private island that you travel to by boat. Not the same as staying on the beach. I do love Aruba though ! One of our favorite places and we go every year but also try to do a second vacation at places we have not been too before.

Although I have never stayed in St Thomas, at least not yet (next year), many of my coworkers love it and to be honest, depending on the time of year, this may be seculded for a honeymoon trip.  Plus no passport needed. If you go to St Thomas you have to take a day trip to St John which I am told is one of the best beaches in the world. Aruba can be very busy during in-season so the crowds may not be what you are looking for on a honymoon. On the other hand, St. Thomas can't compare to the great food and friendly people of Aruba.

For me, if it is your honymoon I think I would pick St Thomas and either try for the Ritz or the Frenchmans Marriott with at least one or two day trips to St John beach.

For a honeymoon, I would definitely do Scrub Island. Intimate private island. If you want more action combine with a few days in San Juan PR at the Ritz Carleton.

We loved the JW in Costa Rica.  The service was excellent. The spa terrific.

We went to Aruba on our honeymoon 39 years ago and have been back over 20 times. We love it there but in my opinion wait till you have kids.  If you do Aruba I would do 5 days at the Marriott and 2 at the Renaissance. It's 2 different vibes. We did enjoy the private island and the downtown.

St. Kitts is quiet, laid back.  We love going with our grandkids.  As a matter of fact I'm writing this from there now.

    If you like snorkeling, Curaçao.

Have not been to Cayman Islands or St Thomas.

    Congratulations.

Thank you for all of the advice. Scrub Island has moved into a tie with Aruba. Will see what rooms and rates I get when my calendar nights become available on marriott.com

Try to use points if you have. If you have status ask for the upgrade to the one bedroom at Scrub Island. It's beautiful.
