inI was recently diagnosed with cancer and as treatment may begin before the end of the year, my husband and I wanted to take a nice vacation.....I searched Inclusive Vacations for St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.....and it came up with Frenchman's Reef and Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort.
Looks like a great place so we decided this is where we would like to go....after many unsuccessful tries on booking the hotel, we finally called a toll free number and booked our vacation. When I asked about the Inclusive vacation, he contacted Marriott and they said they did not have that.....I just want to know why it is advertised as such if it is not available. To me that is false advertising....I wanted to reach someone at Marriott so I hope this will be addressed by them.
bmupton Sorry to hear of your diagnosis, but a wonderful trip sounds like a perfect plan before beginning treatments. I've heard great things about Frenchman's Reef! If you want to send me a private email with your rewards number, I'd be happy to ask a Marriott Rewards specialist get in touch with you to figure this out.
So sorry to hear about your medical condition; perhaps a trip to the Caribbean would be good for you.
There are two Marriott facilities on St. Thomas - Frenchman's Reef and Frenchman's Cove, one a resort hotel, the other associated with MVC. Just to advise there is a $35/day inclusive, resort fee for various activities, such as beach chairs/umbrella, snorkeling, etc.. Everything is quite expensive here, and I believe the hotel warns about venturing too far from the resort (into town) on your own. Therefore, I'd suggest taking taxi from airport and staying around the facilities just to be safe.
