Thanks buddy, the race is run, the crowds were great, the heat was more than we expected. Kecia is ready for dinner, amazingly, not limping, and feeling as if the elephnat has left the room and the weight has been lifted from her shoulders. We all wept a lot this week, we cried tears of joy today. I visited the engine house where the two firefighters were from who died last week and shook every hand that I could in the station. It was a day of glorious events and somber remembrances. Ed Davis, former Police Chief said that if cameras and security are any indication there was more than adequate security--he was right.
I've been off the site for a few days; thanks for the update anadyr as I was wondering how everyone's day went. You were all in my thoughts. Glad that the race is over, everyone is safe, and the emotions sound like they are right where they should be! Congrats to your daughter.
