Curious - Is there an easy way to scan Marriott properties to find out which ones are 1-5?
It appears there might be one way - 1) Once I determine a specific Marriott Brand, say Courtyard, generally being in the ball park, I can just search all the Courtyards. But I want to try and get the best value out of the certificates instead of just seeing them go by the wayside or grabbing a night some place "just because."
Thanks - I had no idea this forum existed.
Welcome to Marriott Rewards Insiders. The below link will take you to a similar post from last month.
erc does a nice job explaining how to use the Marriott website to search by category. I have posted his explanation below:
On Marriott.com when you use the Find a Hotel, click on the link to the right of the Blue Box Find; Advanced Search
Once you go to the Advanced Search screen, bottom left corner under Explore & Plan is Hotel Directory.
Open Hotel Directory, select your area, say for example, See all hotels in the United States, click on that, far right column in the middle of the page, Hotel Reward Category. Piece of cake, hunh?
or click on one of these links - good luck, welcome to Insiders, keep us posted on how you did.
Feel free to reply what area of the country you are looking to use the certs in and I am sure some Insiders will jump in and offer some suggestions.
