Can't get to MIs site to reply from links in e-mail

This is getting old.  Instead of getting better, it seems to be getting worse.  NathalieF  I login at the Marriott site, go through several mouse clicks and get to the Insiders site.  All is fine.  Now I click on a link from an e-mail alert and I am not logged in.  So I go to sign in, it takes me to the Marriott site and I am asked to put my password in.  I do so and am in the Marriott site and it loops again.

What is happening?

I don't have a technical explanation but that's certainly frustrating! When clicking on the email link, does that open different browser application than the one you were already signed in with? For instance, if you signed in with Chrome and then click a link in an email which may open a different (default) browser like Internet Explorer.

Not a fix I realize... but alternatively, you should be able to see each of notifications for the same activity from your inbox since you're already signed in.

The link takes me to the proper place but I am not signed in.  This used to work.

I loaded Chrome when earlier problems were happening and I picked up a virus.  Every time I try to use it, that happens.  I deleted it and won't use it again.  I am using IE.

I have the same problem.  I have Insiders as a toolbar menu item and click on it.  When I do so it redirects to the Marriott main site, where I have to sign in.  It does not change browsers, but then makes me click on at the bottom "Community". After that I am redirected to Insiders and I have to technically sign in again (even though it doesn't ask for my password again).  A lot of steps.

The entire process of signing into the community with your Rewards account is planned to be updates this summer and I've already forwarded a similar concern from a few weeks ago as a top priority with that work. But I'll also check to see if there's anything that can be done before then - I honestly do not want the sign in process to be a burden .

Many things about the site are cumbersome and as a result, I don't post as often and I would expect this is for others too.  It will be nice if these can be fixed.
