I stayed at a Courtyard recently. When making a purchase at The Bistro I was asked if I wanted to charge it to my room. I said that would be fine, but that I was disappointed that the Bistro charges would not earn any points. He said that Bistro purchases charged to the room did indeed earn points. What expenses charged to rooms at Courtyards earn points, please. Thank you.
Courtyard currently remains one of the brands that earns points only on room rates (see link below). This makes it somewhat more of an irritant for folks who miss the free coffee formerly provided. We haven't heard cases of any exceptions...yet. Perhaps since they told you that Bistro charged to the room would earn points they may grant you some points (if you remind them). Please let us know the outcome. Good luck either way and welcome to Insiders.
