Will Travelers Still Go To Sochi?

To be expected after an Olympics winds down is the often asked question of: Will people still come?.  The NYT had an article earlier this week about that exact question.  http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/02/travel/with-games-gone-will-travelers-still-go-to-sochi.html?ref=travel

Marriott opened a FS property in Sochi just prior to the Olympic games so they are surely hoping tourists keep coming.  Original plans had Marriott opening a JW and CY there as well (Marriott International to Open Three Hotels in Sochi, Russia - Marriott News Center), but that looks to have not happened.  Maybe expectations were tempered for long term sustainability of three properties.

Anyone have Sochi on their travel list?

Very interesting question, jakeal! I am also curious to see how many people still plan to visit Sochi. It doesn't help either that Shaun White went on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to share his experience there as well. Unfortunately, his experience wasn't much better!
