Inclusive packages and marriott rewards

I was curious if anyone from Marriott could tell me when you will begin allowing the use of reward points to purchase your "Inclusive Packages".  Several years ago we could buy Inclusive Packages, on top of a rewards points stay, with your points.  I see that Inclusive packages are no longer allowed to be purchased with points.  What is the reasoning behind this?  Will it ever change back to the way it was?  This is the best perk you ever offered...

Thanks,

Scott

Just book the AI package, then use an instant redemption reward.  190,000 points =$1,000.

Not a bad idea, but most of the all inclusives are 400+ per night. If you go for 7 nights it will cost you close to 600,000 points.

My last trip with the old 90K for all inclusive was only 250k.
