A good friend is normally hard at work as a teacher on Cape Cod (for the Geographically challenged, please Google 'Patti Paige') . For some strange reason she decided to venture north into the reaches of Maine, who original naming is in dispute, but I and others know it is a beautiful piece of rock abutting the Atlantic, with Homarus americanus everywhere. (and a few hardy folks too)
Anyway, she sent along this picture yesterday of her car being "washed" by solidified water in the state, showing that there is a need to keep your windows rolled up, while vacationing in this rocky place! If all works out she will be heading back to CC later, after New year's or in March!.
