Traveling with Five

We are a family of five - two young teens and one toddler. In the U.S., we quite often rent two doubles and place a mat on the floor for the smaller child. Marriott properties in the U.S. don't seem to have a problem with this.
However, we are planning a trip to England, and noticed that almost every Marriott in Lond allows only four people in the room. Renting two rooms at London's prices is not feasible financially. Can anyone who has been there tell me how sticky the Marriotts in London might be about having the fifth small child on the mat as we do in the U.S.? We're specifically thinking about staying at the Maida Vale in London.

(For each location tag, you will be guided through a 3-step process to add (1) a city and a state or a city and a country, (2) a Marriott brand, and (3) a Marriott hotel.)
