A Bird's Eye View of New Orleans

I took this shot from the plane as we were getting ready to land in New Orleans.  Our flight from Atlanta into New Orleans took us along the Gulf Coast--over Mobile Bay, Biloxi and Gulfport and the barrier islands, then up the Mississippi to New Orleans.  It's easy to see why New Orleans is called the Crescent City.  The Mercedes-Benz Superdome (home of the Saints) and the New Orleans Arena (home of the Pelicans) are on the right side of the picture.  The French Quarter is in the bottom center, below the tall buildings (several of which are Marriott properties).  It seems like most of our flights come in over Lake Pontchartrain, so I was delighted to get this bird's eye view.
