Just after a bit of advice really - recently booked the Auruo in Moscow via a travel agent and subsequently joined the Reward scheme, but cannot find my booking on the Marriott system, despite having the Marriott reservation number.
Just a bit mistified and any help/advice would be appreciated.
Also am missing an email addy to the hotel directly only got one for sales and not received a reply from them.
Booking via travel agent is NOT a guarantee that a) you will see a reservation within the Marriott website, b) earn points/nights for your stay. This is because travel agents (like some of the "discount sellers" such as priceliine.com, hotels.com, etc.) offer rooms through brokers (bulk-buyers) who have no agreement with Marriott to also offer points/nights on such discounted fares.
