Just got back from a week in Aruba. Ate at all of the top-drawer restaurants (Le Dome, Mathilde, Pirate's Nest) and enjoyed every last one of them. But my wife and I also discovered a secret gem--La Fondue. It is a blend of the Melting Pot and Benihana. The wait makes the fondues at your table (who argues with melted cheese and melted dark chocolate?). But the best part was the California wine selection! Not a wide variety but superbly constructed and priced to match the local (in Montgomery county MD) wine stores. We had two bottles (over three hours), one of which was a Mondavi Private Estate Pinot Noir (for $36). I paid twice that for a V. Guerrin Poilly-Fuisse at Le Dome.
