Because of the ongoing refurbishment works, I was unable to get a room online, or through Silver Elite reservations last week for a room on Saturday night.
My mother was in hospital in Swindon in the Acute Cardiac Unit, so I was desperate to find a room.
When I called the hotel direct, Mandy was really helpful and kind, added me to the hotel wait list, and helped me secure a room at he best rate she could offer.
On arrival, the room was lacking furniture, so to reduce my already high stress levels Mandy immediately upgraded me to a suite.
