I would like to nominate Alexander, who mans the concierge desk at the Marriott of Copenhagen, for the Spirit to Serve award. Alexander's professionalism and attitude epitomize high-quality service. Arriving after an unexpectedly harrowing rail trip from Sweden, our family--including four young children--was exhausted. Alexander patiently answered questions covering the gamut of hotel amenities, local dining options, and recommended activities. He patiently reviewed area maps and suggested viable options for our family. Alexander's recommendations regarding dining and local tour ideas were top-notch. Likewise, his review of the procedure regarding our included breakfast and suggestion that we arise early to avoid a long line was most appreciated the next morning. Alexander then went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable with transport to the airport and assisted us all the way to the cab. While serving clients is part of Alexander's job, he approached the task with an enthusiastic and relaxed demeanor. Alexander certainly contributed most positively to the quality of our stay and he deserves commendation for his truly profession
