Have you ever asked a restaurant what they used to clean the fruits and vegetables that they serve?
It is very interesting to be asking this question in light of the issues with dirty lemons (see YouTube...and bad bacteria) and people getting sick on spinach, lettuce, (e.g., last year Taco Bell, Taco John's, bagged lettuce from Dole, etc.) Some restuarnats just use water, while others use a product that has strong warnings like Danger, Keep out of the reach of Children, Corrissive, causes chemical burns to the eyes and skin, harmful of fatal if swallowed, employees are to be wearing eye goggles, industrial rubber glove, and proctective clothing. This solution is not washed off of the produce....want a salad dressing with that? Why don't they put the ingredients or product used on the menu?
