I have been away for a while. I find it still rather disappointing that there is no MVCI page.
I am writing to say that over the last 3+ years there has been a lot of change with MVCI --not always for the best.
A most recent change is that the MVCI sales staff are no longer 'employed ' and trained by Marriott. The sales staff are now employed by other outside companies and leased out to Marriott. YES This will help Marriott to make more money, and NO it will not benefit the current MVCI owners at all as I suspect there will be more 'hard - sell' and commission huntimg.Thist will all serve to reduce the quality of MVCI for members resulting in lower standards and reduced prices for re-sale.Marriott International has seriously spoilt a good product
Amazingly, this post was done yesterday and I had to go to page 13 to find it!
I fully agree with your MVCI assessment with ONE differentiation......instead of saying that the MVCI changes have not always been for the best...I would say that NO changes have provided a betterment for the program. Quite frankly, and in my opinion, they have ruined the timeshare program that was once so highly regarded.
I can't post here what I really think of what Marriott has done to the program .
