A Near Riot!

When my daughter played t-ball, I learned quickly that the children play together fine, but you have to watch out for the parents!  It was a typical t-ball game.  Most of the players were unaware of what was going on.  Sometimes they'd be picking grass in the outfield...sometimes running to the wrong bases.  Then something happened.  One of the coaches questioned a call by the umpire, and the umpire changed a child from "out" to "on base."  The parents for the other team noticed so they started encouraging the umpire to change some calls for their teams.  The children still didn't seem aware--thank goodness--but the parents on both sides were more & more animated.  That's when the lights went out.  Some smart person found a switch box & turned off the lights.  The game was over.  The children were happy.  The parents were a little embarrassed (hopefully).
