I met my husband at Rutgers. He was a pitcher. Before that, I could never sit through an entire baseball game. They were so long, and often times boring to me. But after I met Bob, something happened for the first time - I wished the game would never end! I went to every home game. Bob thought I was baseball's biggest fan. But I was there to see him, not the game. Many years later, long after we had gotten married, when I turned down his invitations to various baseball games, he asked me when I had stopped liking baseball games. i told him then that I had never really liked baseball games. I had just liked him.
