An annual affair

Let me start off by stating that my wife is not a baseball fan.  She is a hockey fan and loves the fast paced action of that game.  Baseball is perhaps too cerebral for her.  She does not get the nuances of baseball.  She finds it too slow.  As she says: I,m good for about 5 innings anything beyond that is boring".  With that said she is a trooper and agrees every year to go to one game.  We used to live in Toronto and we made it a point to go to one game at Rogers Center (a.k.a. Skydome) and root, root , root for the Blue Jays.  We would go every year with our best friend David.  We have now moved to Phoenix (Glendale, more specifically) and we will continue the tradition.  We have purchased our tickets for the September 2nd game against Toronto.  She'll be wearing her Brett Lawrie jersey and we'll root, root, root for the Blue Jays.  We are looking forward to our first visit to Chase Field, we hear it's a great ballpark.

The tradition continues!

If the Mrs. reads this the wrong way, you may be catching the Labor Day game on the tube, alone.
