to make it more bearable

I think that there should be a time limit on baseball games.  Maybe 2 hours, or 2.5 hours, to make it more watchable.  Having an untimed game is very difficult to plan a day around as a fan or a player.  At least in college basketball you can count on a 2 hour game that is usually close in the last few minutes.  Alternatively, the powers that be could require the fielding team to have just 6 players in the field.  Wouldn't it be fun to see them scramble around to try and make that inning ending second out?  I know it's a lot to ask, but why don't they also play by the same rules in both leagues?  Pitchers hitting or sitting to allow for a designated hitter.  Too confusing.

Even one hour is too long for me! I don't like baseball.

I would certainly attend and watch on TV much more baseball if they were faster, just not sure of how you'd limit the time without changing the nature of the game.  Twenty-seven outs are just that.
