My father in law went to a Cubs World Series Game at Wrigley Field

Overcoming adversity is the true definition of being a Chicago Cubs fan. My father in law is a classic die hard Cub Fan. At 82 years old, he's pretty much seen it all. But he's also seen something that not many living Cub fans have seen, A World Series Game at Wrigley Field. Yes, he was there on October 8, 1945 game 6, in the bleachers when the Cubs beat the Detroit Tigers in extra innings 8-7. This was the only home game that the Cubs won in the World Series that year. The Cubs lost game 7 and lost it badly 9-3. This series was also famous for the start of the Curse of the Billygoat, which happened before Game 4. And the curse continues...
