An ode to lousy baseball

As much as we love to reminisce about winning teams, great players, incredible catches and the like, there are times when baseball teams we follow are incredibly bad,

Here's an ode to those teams and times.

Unlike basketball, football and hockey where a team can go .500 and get into a playoff game, baseball makes it impossible for a team that wins 82 games to go anywhere. We need to hate our team most of the time to be able to love our team when they go 100-62 maybe every 10 years or 50 years as history has proven.

So true.  Baseball is a game, like soccer, where the player's faces are maskless, and most of the time we can see on TV their facial expressions or even read their lips.  It is a game of emotions as well as balls and strikes.
