Elite night credit for MR Credit Card (Chase) purchases

I use my MR Chase CC for all of my stays and charges.

Well I racked up about $12k worth over the last two months of 2012.

Now according to the MR rules: for every $3000 spent on your MR CC you will be granted 1 night towards your Elite nights.  Anyway nothing showing on my profile so I called MRCS, they said call Chase, Chase said call MR, and around and around we go.

MR said we will look into it and "yes you should be awarded Elite nights, but Chase needs to send credit the account"....um OK!!!

I've had no issue in the past with this benefit, only lately. Has anyone else run into this issue. Hopefully it will be resolved because I deliberatly use my MR Chase card so as to add Elite nights.

I did over $27K in December and I had 9 elite nights show up in my account about a week ago. Keep pushing for your nights!

I think they have up to 6 or 8 weeks after your card cycles to post the nights.  I too have experienced lags in being awarded the points, but do eventually get them.  Just make sure to keep track of your statements and make note of the number of nights you're supposed to earn every month.  It doesn't hurt to do your own accounting so you have proof in case Chase decides to give you a hard time.
